Today’s gift is really really special. Our friend, Sara of Cricket Press designed today’s Christmas Ale can label just for our advent box. There are two of those cans in day 23, because, well, we were feeling the Christmas spirit, and because this can is just too pretty to drink alone. If you were around last year — or saw our dry hopped anniversary IPA earlier this year, you’re probably already a fan of Sara’s can art. I know I kept one of last year’s cans, and will also rinse and keep one of these. You don’t have to hoard recyclables like I do to appreciate the can, but I will say, they make great ornaments.
On top of TWO beautiful, advent exclusive edition Christmas Ale Cans, today’s gift is paired with a tiny Christmas comic — also by the wonderful Sara.
This comic is an illustrated telling of the Myth of the White Stag. According to Celtic legend, if you see or catch a white stag it will grant you a single wish, providing aid for a grand quest. If you are so lucky as to stumble upon one of these rare stags...so, think carefully about what you might need for your travels.
For my travels? I think I’ll be good with just these two cans. ;)
