West Sixth Brewing Announces ‘PARKTOBERFEST’, an outdoor Oktoberfest event with Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate
Lexington, Kentucky - July 24th 2025 - West Sixth Brewing and Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate have partnered for ‘PARKTOBERFEST’, a locally-powered public Oktoberfest event on Saturday September 6th from 3pm to 9pm. Featuring all the breweries in Lexington, food trucks, live music and kids programming, this event will be a celebration of outdoor spaces and community partners.
“When West Sixth approached us about being the host site for Parktoberfest, it immediately felt like a fit,” said Jim Clark, Executive Director of the Henry Clay Memorial Foundation. “Our large lawn and dense tree canopy will be perfect for all day gathering, and we’re always looking for new ways to get people to the grounds to learn more about our historic efforts to uncover all angles of the estate’s storied history.”
The great lawn at Ashland will be lined with stellar beer options and food trucks, a ‘Pretzel Row’ featuring bakeries in Lexington, pockets of kids programming and a full lineup of live music throughout the day. $10 limited-editions half litre steins sponsored by Visit Lex and the Brewgrass Trail will be available to purchase, which will include a fill of your choice from the breweries featured lists and $7 refills throughout the event.
“We’re so excited to bring something to Lexington we’ve been dreaming about for a long time,” said Tim Buckingham, External Events Coordinator for West Sixth Brewing. “Our goal is to showcase our dynamic brewery scene alongside local food partners and community members – our town is ready for this greenspace gathering!”
While West Sixth has done many events throughout Lexington, this is the first time they are calling on all the local breweries to join in – and even more exciting is that you’ll see all of the Lexington brews. Parktoberfest is proud to feature Ethereal Brewing, Country Boy Brewing, Blue Stallion, Lexington Brewing & Distilling, Burl Brew, Mirror Twin, Brewer Dude and Black Type Brewing; plus The Void Sake Co & Wisebird Cider.
Save the date for September 6th from 3-9 at Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate. This event will be free and open to the public, and more information can be found at westsixth.com/parktoberfest
